Yes, we have products that can be used on both painted and unpainted surfaces.
I have an ongoing problem with metallic staining on my wall surface. How should I deal with it?
This could be due to a variety of environmental controls with your wall and/or your work site. The most common variable is moisture. If moisture is determined to be the root of the problem, steps must be taken to identify the cavities and openings where it has been allowed to invade and protective coverings or other solutions to prevent further attack must be put in place to prevent further exposure. A thorough drying of the area should be completed before attempting stain removal.
What can I do to avoid stains during new construction?
Prevention is the best solution to preventing concrete or masonry stains during your new building project. Protect your project from rainwater. It’s important to protect metal near the substrate so using plastic or whatever means necessary to keep direct rainfall and runoff away is vital. Clean up mortar residues or grout drops in a timely manner. Left on too long and those may be difficult to clean. You can protect non-masonry materials with plywood, tarps, plastic or other items to avoid dirtying the material. General clean up helps prevent soiling that leads to staining.
I have some heavy duty staining from oil and fatty liquid. Is there a cleaner for that?
Yes, we provide an industrial cleaner that attacks the stains from oils, fatty liquids, iron, manganese, etc. The more heavy hitting the staining component, the more cleaning preparation that may be needed before application of a more complex stain remover. We supply products designed for such and others for alkyds, polyurethanes, epoxies, cured acrylics, phenolics and other surfaces are recommended by the manufacturer.
